" The Harbor is where I can connect with women at a time in their lives when they need loving, older women who will listen to them, encourage them, and walk beside them through tough times into better times. "
KAREN ROBERTS, MENTOR
" When I walked into Dove Harbor I was mentally, emotionally and financially broken. I was so depressed I was on 4 anti-depression medications. With the group session as well as the counselling session I had gotten of all meds. As well as learn to process each day to recognize the things that need to change in my life. The staff also helped me connect with Habit of Humanity in which I was a recipient of a house back in 2016. Living there has provided me with more then I could ever imagine. I have an extended family."
SUE KINLEY, FORMER RESIDENT
" As a former struggling single mother who received help and support from my church and Christian friends, I wanted to pay it forward and Dove Harbor has been the perfect fit for doing that, Volunteering with Dove Harbor has given me a better outlook on what life, faith, and friends working together for a common cause is all about! "
CONNIE CLARK, VOLUNTEER
" Dove Harbor is a wonderful, impactful, life-changing program for the one who is ready to "do the work" and partner with others who provide support and encouragement. Overnight Supervisor (ONS) now known as Resident Assistant (RA). Lived in the upstairs apartment for 10 years and got to experience a wide range of successes and disappointments, along with moments of extreme joy, heartache, laughter, frustration, and fear. Wouldn't trade it for the world! "
