It's that time of year when you may be searching for opportunities to support a family less fortunate. If this is a desire that has been placed on your heart, Dove Harbor would like to thank you for your support and assist you by providing some options as to how you could help this holiday season.

We encourage our residents to complete "Wish Lists" of items they would be blessed to receive for Christmas. If you are interested in Adopting a family this Christmas season, please contact us to obtain more information. You can help us turn our "rooms" into "homes", by providing the necessary items to prepare a room for our new families as they arrive. This is a truly special way to impact and encourage those who come to call Dove Harbor home. Preparing a "Room Kit" is also a great way to work together as a small group of individuals can share in this option.

Throughout the year, a general needs list is maintained to help ease the burden of providing our services. During the holiday season, a list of Special Ministry Gifts is created of items that are greatly needed by our program as a whole that will not only bless our current families, but those who are yet to enter Dove Harbor. If you are interested in more specifics regarding either of these lists, please contact us to obtain more information.

  • High Efficiency (HE) Laundry Detergent
  • Mr. Clean Magic Erasers
  • Air Fresheners (for resident rooms)
  • Computer flash drives
  • Postage stamps

  • Gift cards – Grocery stores, Walmart, Target, Lowes, Menards – used to purchase supplies on an as-needed basis, helping to reduce our overall expenses
